By downloading or using WA Student Driver, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

License Grant

WA Student Driver ("the app") is licensed to you, not sold. Grant Lutz ("we," "us") grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, subject to the usage rules of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of the app.

In-App Purchases

Full Access is available as a one-time in-app purchase. All transactions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Billing, refunds, and payment disputes are governed by the respective platform's terms and policies. We do not process payments directly.

Data and Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. The short version: we don't collect your personal data.

No Warranty

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will meet your specific requirements.

The practice questions in the app are intended as a study aid only. We do not guarantee that use of the app will result in passing Washington's knowledge test or obtaining a driver's license.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the app — regardless of the legal theory — shall not exceed fifty dollars ($50.00). We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.

Termination

Your license to use the app ends automatically if you violate any of these terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the app and delete it from your devices.

Third-Party Services

The app may link to third-party services (such as the App Store or support forms). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those services. Use them at your own discretion.

Export Restrictions

You may not use or export the app in violation of United States export laws and regulations. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. government embargo and are not on any government restricted-party list.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. If you are located in the EU, Switzerland, Norway, or Iceland, the laws of your country of residence apply to the extent required by local law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
